Seesaw
This is our primary platform for instruction and assignments. Students use built-in multimodal tools to capture what they know in Seesaw’s digital portfolio. Teachers see all stages of student thinking and progress which guides their instruction and allows for more targeted lessons. Families gain a window into their student’s learning and engage in home-to-school connections. This is also where you can access school wide notifications for monthly newsletters, Google outages, school spirit days and other school-wide communications. Learn more with Seesaw for Families.
Google for Education
Provides access to many of the household name Google tools such as Google Meet, Google Docs, and Gmail. Students are able to meet with their teachers live on Google Meet to receive direct instruction. They are also able to collaborate in real time using Google Drive, Doc, Slides and Jamboard to create powerful learning experiences. Students should always use the Google Chrome internet browser to access their virtual learning.
Hapara
This is our classroom management software. Hapara allows teachers to remotely see, in real time, their students’ Chromebook screens including opened browser tabs. This means that teachers are able to access and monitor students’ screens, at home, while teaching. Teachers can also limit the websites that students are able to visit during class time. The same functionalities will be implemented when a student logs into the Chrome browser from any home or private computer. Students should always use the Google Chrome internet browser to access their virtual learning. Learn more with FAQs for Parents – Hapara Support.
