- 32 Career & Tech scholars sign letters of intent to work with area businesses at annual Signing Day event.
- Unanimous approval of BOCES 2023-24 administrative budget by our 23 component school districts boards of education.
- Hundreds of area students showcase their artistry in annual virtual BOCES and CVLA Art Shows.
- 120+ Adult Practical Nursing (APN) students connect with area healthcare providers at annual career fair.
Excellence
- Nearly 60 students showcase strong professional skills with 10 top finishers at statewide SkillsUSA competition; two move on to compete at the National SkillsUSA competition.
- 93 students inducted into National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) for continued academic rigor.
- 560 Career and Technical Education graduates set to move on to college and career paths.
- 14 Special Education program grads move on to postsecondary learning, jobs or experiences in their communities.
Improvement
- More than 100 staff gained new skills in Google Forms, Canva, Webex, AI and more at NERIC’s spring PD Day.
- Annual RIC One conference helps hundreds from across the state gain new skills in cybersafety and security.
- Grants team support helps districts statewide grow their preK offerings by securing needed funds–more than $1M in total.
- Careers in Construction month fuel record high enrollment of 360 students from more than 24 area districts in CTE construction-related programs.
Leadership
- 100+ from more than 40 school districts learn about all things AI in k-12 education at NERIC’s spring symposium.
- Engagement & Development’s Jordyn Kelleher honored for commitment to excellence for improving our print processes and project support for clients and staff.
- Program Manager Hilary Hofstein celebrated for commitment to leadership of our Health Safety and Risk Management service and dedicated support of its clients.
- From photography to capital projects, Engagement & Development team honored with national awards for their creative and strategic communication work.
