Job Description:

Membership Specialist for local insurance industry trade association seeks talented sales representative to sell new memberships and partake in all aspects of retaining association members. Position has a base salary plus a bonus program for selling new membership into the association. The ideal candidate will be able to make & receive outbound telephone calls, meet in person, use emails, social media and written correspondence to sell and service professional business owners. They will possess excellent listening and communications skills while presenting solutions for the members business needs, and be comfortable inviting the business to join and renew in the future. The successful applicant will be an integral part of the association team, working not only with business owners but also other staff and association leadership.

Skills Needed:

Telemarketing via phone and written correspondence; ability to ask questions, listen and offer solutions; be able to make a sales presentation and close the sale; be able to work in a team setting; be professional and courteous; learn to use an inhouse database and Microsoft tools.

High School or GED required. Associates or higher degree encouraged but not required.

$19.23 an hour
