Manufacturing and Machining Technology
Albany Campus
The program was developed in cooperation with local businesses and industries, colleges and professional associations to meet our region’s growing demand for advanced manufacturing professionals.
Students focus on skilled manufacturing, machining and advanced
manufacturing, and they learn how products are taken from
concept to consumer using the latest technology to compete in a
global marketplace.
They learn computer-aided design (CAD), engineering drawing
and sketching and a number of computer programs used in today’s
highly technical manufacturing operations. Students benefit from
partnerships with such advanced manufacturers as Greno Industries
Inc., NSH USA Corp., GE Vernova, PVA and P1 Industries, which offer
opportunities for job shadowing and internships.
