Manufacturing and Machining Technology program graduate Kody Skeal has returned to our Career & Technical School to share his knowledge as an interim instructor for the next generation of machinists and manufacturers.
Skeals brings with him eight years of industry experience and a degree in Advanced Manufacturing Technologies from Hudson Valley Community College that was paid for by his industry employers. He is also a Certified CNC Journeyman Machinist, has worked industry giants like Package One.
Skeals credits our Career & Technical School program with giving him a head start on his career.
“Attending BOCES gave me the foundation to start my career as a machinist and now return as a teacher,” said Skeals.
“Teaching is reinvigorating my passion for machining. I’m grateful for the opportunity to teach for BOCES and the chance to create opportunities for my students that I have been given,” he added.
