The Substitute Coordination
Service uses an automated solution that integrates database records
with Interactive Voice Response (IVR) and
browser-based technology.
Teachers
and substitutes use the telephone and/or
Internet.
A
computer database is formatted with
substitute and teacher information.
The
computer selects the most qualified
available substitute.
Daily
absence reports can be accessed by school
office personnel.
Daily
substitute placements can be accessed by
school office personnel.
Access
ID and PIN are required, and available after district approval.
Certified
substitute teachers are placed in jobs before non-certified
substitutes.
