“Right-to-Know” legislation provides employees with information about the known and suspected health hazards that may result from working with toxic substances. Employees have a legal right to this information. This assists them in making knowledgeable and reasoned decisions with respect to any personal risks of their employment and the need for corrective action.

The Substitute Coordination Office tracks HazCom compliance for all of our component districts. As a sub, individual districts do not need to receive a copy of your HazCom quiz directly. They rely on the BOCES Sub Service to manage substitute compliance.
It is advised that you also mail the results to yourself. This can be used as proof that you completed the course if you work in districts outside of our registry.
