The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has
scheduled a series of Public Agency Briefings for local agencies
including school districts, towns, counties and other municipalities
that sustained damage from
Hurricanes Irene and Lee.
Information will be
provided at the meetings
about applying for federal disaster
recovery assistance.
Costs associated with the damage and cleanup resulting from the storms should be documented. SED's Facilities Planning recommends: Keep every receipt — rental equip, staff OT, etc., and take photos of the damage.

The briefings are open only to municipalities and agencies.
