Skills Development II (SDII)
This program serves students with mild to moderate learning and social/emotional needs. Programs are tailored to meet individual student needs and include a combination of primary instruction in basic skill areas in addition to resource room and push-in support for students participating in mainstream classes. Work-based learning is a componant in the secondary-level SD II classrooms. Students participate in all New York state regular grade-level assessments. High school students in this program are eligible for the New York State Regents diploma or the Local High School diploma through the safety net for students with disabilities, as well as the CDOS Commencement Credential. The student/teacher/aide ratio is 12:1:2. (MS, HS)
