BOCES staff coordinates this shared service that offers students (other than Schenectady City) the opportunity to attend the Schenectady Sayles School of the Fine Arts. This collaborative service provides home districts with additional options for students who desire to pursue a more advanced level of study in the arts than the home district can provide and to study at the commencement level of the NYS learning standards for the arts. Students receive credit for beginning-level through advanced-level courses in visual arts, media arts, music, theater, dance and interdisciplinary courses at Schenectady’s Sayles School of the Fine Arts.
