Online collections allow students and teachers to access and use their school library resources 24/7 from any location at any time. This service assists schools in the purchase of online databases and learning resources in a cooperative environment. The School Library System negotiates with vendors for prices significantly lower than list price when purchased through BOCES. Services include:

Database awareness sessions

Database trial periods during the school year

Cooperative best-price purchasing

Coordination of training sessions for librarians and teachers

2011-12 Pricing: Cost of database(s) plus 14% coordination fee
