Staff will customize technical assistance in
the areas of: Universal Design for Learning;
differentiated instruction; inclusion support; assistive and
instructional technologies, and Response
to Intervention. The service will include the use of effective
technology tools.
Districts may request a
consultant to assist with:
Needs and resource assessments
Planning a flexible curriculum and learning environment for all
students.
Creating and supporting a professional learning community
Support using a variety of Web 2.0 communication tools and
services.
Local Assistive Technology Specialist (LATS) Certification.
Participation in the program will reduce barriers to learning for
targeted learners; improve designated
aspects of program design, implementation and follow-up; demonstrate
the overall impact of professional
development on students; and integrate technology to bring
about positive change within the system. This service will be
provided in collaboration with
Instructional Technology/E-Learning.
