Teaching Assistant collecting coats for Schoharie kids

Kathy Menzies, Culinary Arts teaching assistant at Career & Tech's Albany campus, is collecting coats and winter clothing to assist children in Schoharie County. "Winter is approaching," she said, "and there is a great need for winter clothing. There is a collection for Schoharie County coats for kids/teens through the Schoharie County Community Action Program (SCCAP). They need new or gently used items such as: coats, boots, gloves, mittens and hats.

"I would be happy to deliver these items, and there will be a collection tub in the main office here at school through 10/25/11. All sizes would be greatly appreciated! Children outgrow these items so fast perhaps you may have some that are no longer needed.

Thank you for helping our neighbors that have been (and still are) affected by the flooding in Schoharie."
