Enrollment in our school: A snapshot

 

Career & Tech serves students from 25 school districts, which include 22 public high schools, private and parochial schools and home-schooled students in Albany, Schoharie, Schenectady and southern Saratoga counties. We also serve students from neighboring BOCES through cross-contracted enrollment. Career & Tech offers adult students a range of educational options, from daytime programs to part-time, evening study, adults-only programs, and training programs designed for specific employers.

 

Albany campus

(including New Visions and Theatre Technology)
Regular Career & Tech Education (CTE) programs: 794 students
Special Ed/CTE: 111
Alternative Ed: 16 (also enrolled in CTE)

Welding Certification for Adults program: 17  -  enrollment is ongoing, with rolling start dates
HVAC Excellence - starts Oct. 9  - enrollment is ongoing
KAPL engineers (3 sessions yearly of up to 9 students)

 

Practical Nursing for Adult Students programs

Full-day program: 100
Part-time study program: 39; open enrollment ongoing for November program

 

Nurse Assistant for Adult Students program

Albany: Open enrollment ongoing for December program
Schoharie: 12 in September class; open enrollment ongoing for October
